Keeping strong.. Moving forward

It was just about my normal routine, sipping through coffee driving through downtown. Finally pulled in my parking spot right across state house and next to chase corporate.  There i see an elderly man barely able to walk with support of his cane. The moment i thought that this man can fall at any given second, and he did. I immediately walked out of my car tried to help him and gather his newspaper that shifted through the wind arcross side walk. I asked the elderly man if he was alright and needed to sit down for few minutes. He replied, young man i have taken many fall in life and among all this was a tiny one. He said thank you and walked away. I din’t realize what he was referring to. From the looks of him he seemed an army veteran, as he carried US flag in his bag walking towards the state house where memorial day ceremonies were about to began or maybe he was just patriotic.

We are definitely bound to take many falls. The question is, how do we get up and start moving forward. Whether we just lay and keep our sadness attached to us and never try getting up or cherish what we have and move forward. Life can be a pretty sight as when we glance outside airplane windows filled with clouds and beauty of skies. It is the perspective of human mind, heart and soul that narrates the story of our journey. There are many incidents such as these that i came across, but there are very few that i took some time thinking about it. This was one of them.
